My son and I took a 4-hour afternoon trip with Captain Evan. He got us on fish right away. We lost count of how many we caught. We caught a ton of snook that put up a good fight and caught a few trout. My son caught a 23” trout, which was a beast! I would highly recommend Captain Evan. We will definitely be booking with him again when we are back next time!

Had an awesome half day of fishing with Captain Evan. We spent four hours fishing in various locations in the bay. We caught primarily trout and snook, some were very large. Evan knows the area very well, has been fishing this area since he was in middle school. He is very knowledgeable, polite, informative, and makes the it a very enjoyable fishing trip. Had a great time! Captain Evan was constantly making efforts to make our experience better. Almost always on fish and if we weren’t he would immediately make a change of plans to up our chances. Caught a wide variety of fish which includes hitting a “slam” for target fish(snook, red, and trout). He is very nice and very helpful. Evan really put my son and I on the fish today. First cast was a nice trout and we caught and landed nearly 50 snook as well as reds, trout and flounder. He was a great guide and coach for my 10 year old son on his first saltwater trip. Evan is from the area and it showed in his knowledge of these waters around Anna Maria. We will for sure fish with him again!

Had a good day on the water with Captain Evan. The bite was a little off but Evan worked hard finding some fish for us. He was very attentive when it came to keeping our baits rigged and offering advice on techniques. He is very friendly and would also work well with kids. Boat is modern and spacious. Excellent 3/4 day of inshore fishing on an overcast December day. My daughter and I caught and released 15+ snook, 4 trout, 3 jack, mangrove snapper, cat, and a couple of nice reds. Captain Evan did an excellent job of putting us on fish and genuinely cared about the fish and the growth of sport fishing.
